Mohawk Industries (Dallas) and its sister brand Daltile are the exclusive suppliers of flooring for The New American Home, a focal point of the 2014 NAHB International Builders' Show in Las Vegas this week. More than 3,000 square feet of Mohawk hardwood and carpet, as well as Daltile's tile and natural stone, will be used throughout the home. Since 1984, The New American Home has been built to showcase NAHB supplier members' products and demonstrate what NAHB calls "builders' best practices," which include concepts, materials, designs and construction techniques that can be replicated-in whole or in part-in all home construction projects.
