Bona Announces Inaugural Certified Craftsman Convention

Bona US (Aurora, Colo.) announced its first Bona Certified Craftsman Convention. To be held in Denver later this week, the convention will bring together businesses in the wood floor industry from across the country. The event will kick off on Thursday, Feb. 20, with an opening keynote speech by the NBA's 1978 Most Valuable Player and three-time All-American Bill Walton. A variety of professional seminars, technical courses and networking opportunities will be available, and attendees also will have an opportunity to meet National Wood Flooring Association president and CEO Michael Martin at an exclusive networking event. "The future of this industry is built on education and knowledge sharing. Bona has brought all these elements together in a top-rate event," Martin said in a statement.

Speakers include Andrew Davis, author of Brandscaping: Unleashing the Power of Partnerships; John Vachalek, founder and CEO of Webolutions (Denver); Colleen Stanley, founder and president of SalesLeadership Inc. (Denver); Erin Wright, vice president of human resources at BonaUS; and Mike Hanbery, director of new media strategies for Webolutions.
