Goodwin Company (Micanopy, Fla.) is partnering with wood flooring professional Howard Brickman from Brickman Consulting to present what they are calling the first-ever class designed to help wood flooring professionals anticipate, avoid and resolve even the most complex installation pitfalls. "Self-Defense for Wood Floor Professionals" will be held May 1-4 at the Key West Custom House Museum in Key West, Fla. Course attendees will receive training that Goodwin says will help save their businesses money and boost their bottom lines. They also will gain a knowledge of wood floor installation and finish details to which only a select few are privy, while creating a lifetime support network with Brickman and other nationally acclaimed wood flooring professional experts. The wood floor of the Key West Custom House Museum will be refinished as part of the class. Sponsors providing funding and/or products will include Goodwin Company, Bona and Spottswood Company.
