Townsend Flooring Inc. (Warren, Ark.) is expanding operations. The company, which manufactures unfinished engineered flooring, began operations in 2011. Co-owner Shay Dugal says the expansion is a result of manufacturing, sales and marketing successes, and will include new state-of-the-art equipment to improve efficiency, more than double current production and create 10 new jobs requiring highly trained mechanical technicians.
Townsend is owned by Ouachita Hardwood Flooring Inc. (Warren, Ark.). The owners are Tommy Maxwell, president and CEO of Maxwell Hardwood Flooring Inc. (Monticello, Ark.); Kristi Maxwell-Prince, CFO of Maxwell Hardwood Flooring; Dugal, co-owner and general manager of Ouachita Hardwood Flooring; and Wil Maxwell, co-owner of Ouachita Hardwood Flooring and director of operations for Maxwell Hardwood Flooring.
