The public and building professionals interested in CEU credits are invited to the Key West Custom House Museum in Florida next week to watch wood flooring experts donate their time, supplies and equipment to refinish the 124-year-old building's floors.
The public and building professionals interested in CEU credits are invited to the Key West Custom House Museum in Florida next week to watch wood flooring experts donate their time, supplies and equipment to refinish the 124-year-old building's floors.
George and Carol Goodwin of Goodwin Heart Pine Co. (Micanopy, Fla.) and Howard Brickman of Brickman Consulting (Norwell, Mass.) will lead the volunteer effort alongside Bona US, which is donating the supplies and equipment.
Building professionals can get CEU credits by attending the "Architectural and Design Uses of Reclaimed Woods" presentation on April 28 or the "Self Defense for Wood Floor Professionals" on May 1 and May 2 from 1 p.m.-5 p.m. each day. The presentations will take place at the Custom House. The class on May 1 and May 2 will be lead by Goodwin Company and Howard Brickman.
The public may attend the refinishing demonstration from 10 a.m. to noon on May 3rd. The Custom House Museum is located at 381 Front Street, Key West, FL, 33040.
