The Hardwood Forest Foundation presented its "Truth About Trees" curriculum program with the help of 25 elementary school students during the National Wood Flooring Association's 2014 Wood Flooring Expo in Nashville in April.
The program aims to teach children about sustainable forest management and wood product use. The kids and program attendees were also shown a special performance of the "Truth About Trees" music video written by Emmy-award winning musician Jeff Lusk.
"When we were asked to take part in NWFA's Wood Flooring Expo, we were honored, and the fact that they funded the entire program speaks volumes on the amount of support we've received from the flooring industry … the Foundation remains grateful for this," said Foundation's Executive Director Crystal Oldham in a statement.
