Testing laboratory and engineered floor expert Josh Hosen willl be one of the 11 instructors leading a series of National Wood Flooring Association June training workshops aimed at inspectors, but open to anyone.
Hosen will work with the attendees of the "Utilizing Testing Labs" and "Engineered Flooring" workshops, taking place at NWFA headquarters on June 23 and 24, respectively.
Hosen is the manager of certification services at HPVA Laboratories in Reston, Va., where he is responsible for managing segments of the testing lab and certification programs. He also is tasked with administering field inspections of quality systems at engineered wood floor manufacturing facilities nationwide.
Additionally, he evaluates engineered wood flooring in the lab, conducts ASTM testing and participates in the development of testing and industry standards from ASTM and ANSI.
Each class begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m. Registration ends the day before the class begins and can be found online at the NWFA's website.
