Students attending the Report Writing Workshop, part of the National Wood Flooring Association's Inspector Workshops taking place this month, will receive instruction from technical writing expert Cathy Duncan.
Duncan is a former professor at the University of Memphis, where she taught business and technical writing for 12 years. Duncan then moved into the private sector, where she taught employees of companies in a variety of industries to improve their writing skills respective their individual vocations for 11 years.
The Report Writing Workshop, lead by Duncan, NWFA Regional Instructor Jon Namba and Tim Moore, details the "seven steps" for writing an effective report. It takes place June 27 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at NWFA headquarters in Chesterfield, Mo.
