The window to submit entries for Mullican Flooring's (Johnson City, Tenn.) "Proud to Be an American" essay contest closes July 4.
The contest, designed to venerate those who have served in the United States military, has members of the public write essays highlighting active duty or retired veteran military personnel. The service member profiled in the winning essay will receive 1,500 square feet of Mullican flooring.
"Mullican Flooring is honored to acknowledge and celebrate our nation's service members through this essay contest," said Brian Greenwell, vice president of sales and marketing, in a statement. "We hope this contest will inspire people to reflect on our active duty and retired military members, and we look forward to learning more about their experiences and valuable contributions to our country."
