E.J. Welch Company (Earth City, Mo.) has fortified its management team with in-house promotions and new hires.
Keith Throm will now direct the southern sales team and manage installation projects, and Erin Cartwright Fernandes will manage commercial products and direct the commercial specification team. Throm and Fernandes have worked with E.J. Welch Company for 30 and 17 years, respectively.
Matt Shaw, who has worked 12 years for the company managing its central Missouri territory, will fill the sales position vacated by Throm. Lisa Johnson-Powell, a new hire with 21 years of experience in the flooring industry, will fill Fernandes' old role servicing key design firms.
Shaw's position managing territory in Missouri will go to new hire Bryce Irvin, who comes most recently from Fastenal.
Separately, the company added two commercial sales consultants, Kathryn Willamson from HDW and E.J. Welch's own Kelli Mildren, to service Chicago-area building design firms.
