A thief took off with a semi-trailer full of prefinished oak hardwood flooring, a police chief in Glencoe, Ala., told The Gasden Times.
It was no easy burglary. "They would have needed an 18-wheeler to pull it away," Glencoe Police Chief Jonathan Horton told the paper.
He said he thought the thief may have taken the trailer for the hardwood flooring inside, and may abandon the trailer. A witness might have seen the trailer being pulled toward Anniston, just north of US I-20, which connects Birmingham, Ala., and Atlanta.
The owner is offering a $2,000 cash reward for any information.
