Greyne Co., a Fort Mill, S.C.-based provider of solid and engineered hardwood floor products, has hired Ray Gandy as president.
Gandy comes to the wood flooring business after 20 years of IT industry leadership, the majority of which was spent with United Technologies Corporation, a Fortune 50 provider of high-tech products for the aerospace and defense and building systems industries.
At Greyne, CEO Nicole Little said Gandy will focus on, among other things, improving the layout of the company's 82,000-square-foot warehouse. The facility sports a number of Italian Superfici finishing lines.
