Dover Rug & Home (Natick, Mass.) opened its second showroom in Boston's Back Bay neighborhood.
The Dover-Boston showroom carries hardwood floors in addition to rugs, carpeting, window treatments, interior design and cleaning, repair and appraisal services.
“We are very thrilled to be part of Boston’s burgeoning home design community,” said Mahmud Jafri, Dover Rug & Home's CEO, in a statement. "Our Back Bay location is more convenient for our clients in and around Boston, and also gives us the opportunity to meet the many new residents moving into the city."
Dover also said it will sponsor two presentations in October at the new showroom. "Beyond the Canvas: Inspired Ideas from Floors to Walls," will be held Oct. 1, 5:30–8 p.m., as part of BostonARTWEEK. "Finishing Touches: How to Take Your Project from Good to Exceptional," will be held Oct. 7, 5:30–8 p.m., as the first installment of Design New England Magazine's fall Salon Series.
