Where most vacuums sport a spinning bristle roller that can drag sharp particles across wood floors, scratching the finish, the Fluffy (or the DC74, if you are no fun) roller is covered with plush microfiber. It’s like taking a feather duster to your floors, but a feather duster paired with Dyson’s powerful suction.
The vacuum has been released only in Japan, and there’s no word whether it will be released elsewhere. With a $750 price tag, though, American consumers might be happy to wait until the technology becomes a little cheaper.
