Philadelphia Floor Store (Conshohocken, Pa.) partnered with the NWFA to provide educational workshops at its showroom in Conshohocken Sept. 25–26.
The two-day event began with a Finish Application/Color workshop and ended the next day with Machine Maintenance training. Both days sold out.
Participant Pete Mansueto of Mansueto Hardwood Flooring won a P245 Pro Series nailer raffled off by Primatech. Jim Zane of Jim Zane Carpentry was also a winner, taking home a one-year NWFA membership.
“The training was first-rate!” Sean Maxwell, owner of Maxwell Hardwood Floors and training attendee, said in a statement. “The skills we learned will no doubt provide long-term value for those of us who rely on our flooring tools and application techniques to make a living.”
The manufacturers at the workshops were HID Ultraviolet, Norton Abrasives, Basic Coatings, Primatech, Woca, Lenmar, Glitsa, DuraSeal, General Finishes and Arboritec.
