"I swear, if I rope it, it will not hit your house" —famous last words? Maybe not last, but prize-winning, at least. That is the winning caption from the October/November issue’s Loggers Perched Beneath a Redwood Behemoth caption contest.
The comedian behind the caption was Ryan Carver, manager of Carver's Hardwoods LLC in Benton, Wis. He will be awarded with riches not many in this business have ever earned—a Hardwood Floors T-shirt and a name drop in the December 2014/January 2015 issue of Hardwood Floors magazine, the Surfaces Issue.
We haven't been able to confirm if Carver's caption was inspired by personal experience, but we hope not. Unless Carver is the man in this video?
