The 59th annual World of Wood Convention, hosted by the International Wood Products Association (IWPA), will take place March 18–20 at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
The event will bring more than 300 importers, U.S. manufacturers, exporters, wholesalers, offshore suppliers and service providers in the global wood products industry for three days of informative presentations, networking opportunities and market-focused events.
Presenters include Don Cooper, a sales expert who counts Yamaha, Costco, Johnson & Johnson and Harley Davidson among his clients. He will speak about "The Myth of Price" and why businesses should charge more than they do. Also speaking is John Min, chief economist of foreign exchange brokerage World First USA, and Scott Clemens, chief investment strategist for Brown Brothers Harriman & Co.
