Domotex Asia/Chinafloor won't celebrate opening night until March 24, but the number of international suppliers registered to participate is already 50 percent higher than in 2014, according to a statement from Domotex organizer Deutsche Messe AG.
In 2014, Domotex Asia/Chinafloor had 1,177 exhibitors representing all segments of the floor coverings industry. Of these companies, 22 percent came from outside China.
In 2015, the trade fair, including both carpets and floor coverings, will occupy 12 exhibition halls with a total area of 1.5 million square feet.
Four exhibition halls have been designated to display wood flooring and laminates from international companies such as Kronoswiss, Kronotex, Beaulieu, Ter HĂĽrne, Egger, Berry Alloc and Witex. Major Chinese exhibitors include Nature, Sunyard, Yihua, Boer, Jinqiao, Teclic and Huaming.
