APA – The Engineered Wood Association recently redesigned a suite of websites, including its main website APAWood.org.
The changes to its main site, along with its sister sites APACAD.org, EngineeredWood.org, PerformancePanels.com and WoodUniversity.org, make for faster, easier access to the Association's collection of educational resources.
The new APAWood.org website hosts engineered wood publications, CAD details, videos, images and events. More than 1.8 million unique visitors went to the website in 2013, according to the APA.
There is also a new "Technical Research" section that describes APA's work in wood product and systems testing, as well as projects and research with the Forest Products Laboratory. For the first time, a selection of technical papers authored by APA's wood scientists and engineers are available for public download.
