Unilin, one of Europe's largest wood and laminate flooring companies that manufactures Quick-Step and Pergo products, will no longer supply Europe with engineered wood floor products manufactured in its Malaysian facility.
Instead, Unilin has invested millions to increase the production of its Magnum Parket plant at Vyskov in the Czech Republic by 59 percent. The plant will now produce almost 14 million square feet a year, according to an article from IHB.
Unilin will reorient its Malaysian facility to supply markets in Asia, U.S., Latin America and Australia.
