Brian Kura is Q.E.P. Co. Inc.'s (Johnson City, Tenn.) new executive vice president.
Brian Kura is Q.E.P. Co. Inc.'s (Johnson City, Tenn.) new executive vice president.
Kura spent the previous 16 years at The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company. Most recently he was president of Scotts LawnService and had full profits and loss responsibility over the $300 million "do-it-for-me” segment of the business, according to a Q.E.P. statement. Prior to LawnService, Kura was senior vice president of sales.
Kura graduated from the University of Arizona and has an MBA from Duke University's FUQUA School of Business.
He will be headquartered in the Boca Raton, Fla., facility.
“With the addition of Brian to our Q.E.P. team we look forward to the challenges of tomorrow as we grow," said Lewis Gould, chairman, in a statement.
Q.E.P. is the parent company of Harris Wood, Porta-Nails Inc., Roberts, Capitol, Vitrex and Homelux, among others.
