Kährs International Inc. (Altamonte Springs, Fla.), a Swedish wood and resilient flooring manfacturer, will increase the hardwood flooring production at its facility in Satulung, Romania.
The facility will begin producing prefinished hardwood floors at the end of 2015.
The company also wishes to streamline production processes and reduce costs, according to a statement from the company. Satulung is attractive because it provides a strategic location near the Central European market and raw materials for wood floors.
