Waterlox Coatings Corp. (Cleveland) hired Conor Hawkins as its technical product manager.
In the new role, Hawkins will be responsible for managing plant production and operations, as well as research and new product development.
Most recently, Hawkins was a process engineer at PPG Industries, where he managed technology transfer between global regions to ensure best practices were used. He also served as a chemist in the Automotive OEM Coatings Technical division of PPG.
Hawkins is part of the fourth generation of Hawkins to work at Waterlox. His father is the current CEO, and his sister is the vice president and legal compliance officer.
