The National Wood Flooring Association will offer its first Master Craftsman training of the year Feb. 16–20 at the NWFA Training Facility in Chesterfield, Mo., just outside St. Louis.
The school is designed for the higher-level wood floor professional. Training topics will include jigs/medallions, parquetry and marquetry, staircases, non-linear installation, taper boards, routing, hand scraping, reclaimed and wide-plank installation and expert-level prefinished installation.
HF blogger Avi Hadad of Avi’s Hardwood Floors (El Sobrante, Calif.) and Randy Harris of Hardwood Industry Products (Hurricane, Utah) will be lead instructors along with Brett Miller, NWFA vice president of education and certification.
Participants must have successfully completed an NWFA Advanced-level school and have a minimum of three years’ experience working with wood floors.
