Mohawk Industries (Dallas) promoted Paul Armstrong to national wood manager/business development for its hard surface division.
Armstrong will be responsible for increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of Mohawk hardwood sales, and for the company’s nationwide promotional outreach.
He has 30 years of experience in hardwood product management, sales, claims resolution and product and installation training.
He has been with Mohawk since 2008, when he was hired as the Northeast region hardwood specialist. Before joining Mohawk, Armstrong was vice president of SPI Floors’ wood flooring division, where he tripled hardwood flooring sales. Prior to SPI, he worked as a sales representative for J.J. Haines & Company (Glen Burnie, Md.).
