Mohawk Industries Inc. (Dallas) has partnered with C2FO, an online marketplace that facilitates quicker payments to sellers in exchange for discounts to buyers, according to the Kansas City Business Journal.
Mohawk was a C2FO client before the partnership. Through C2FO, Mohawk would sell products to retailers with a 5 percent discount, and the retailers would pay the bill immediately. Now, with the new partnership, Mohawk is adding its “thousands of suppliers” to C2FO’s platform, Business Journal reported.
"We had people calling us and calling Mohawk to see if this was real," C2FO Chief Sales Officer Dru Shiner told Business Journal. "The cost savings for getting liquidity out of their receivables was incredibly attractive compared to their other options, so they were really excited to learn it was real."
