Nature Flooring to Plant Trees in Washington D.C. Urban Oasis

Nature Flooring (Exton, Pa.) will begin an environmental initiative by planting trees in Washington D.C.’s Wangari Gardens community park on May 16 at 10 a.m.

The park, named after Nobel Peace Prize winner and conservationist Wangari Maathai of Kenya, features 50 fruit trees, a vegetable garden, herb garden, medicinal garden, berry garden and outdoor classroom, all at a crossroads in urban D.C.

"We are delighted to plant trees in a place that is designed, created, and sustained by the community for the non-profit benefit of the community," said Raymond Zhu, Nature Flooring CEO, in a statement. "We promise to plant more trees for a blue sky for our next generation."
