Thompson & Thwaite to Locate Wide Plank Manufacturing Plant in Ga.

Thompson & Thwaite, a green forest products company, will locate a wide plank flooring manufacturing plant in Monticello, Ga.

The company hopes to hire 20 positions and produce more than 2 million square feet of wide plank hardwood flooring each year, according to AreaDevelopment.com.

“I look forward to building Thompson & Thwaite’s plant in Jasper County,” Bert Thompson of Thompson & Thwaite said in a statement. “The location in Jasper County is ideal for our forest products based industry and we are very excited to join many other quality green industry companies who have found a new home in Georgia.”
