Oneida Air Systems (Syracuse, N.Y.) doubled its sales revenues in four years and is “well on its way to tripling its sales revenue.” The company plans to add 60 employees over the next year, according to a statement from the company.
The 60 positions will be located at the dust collection system company’s headquarters and manufacturing facility in central New York.
The dramatic increase in sales revenue is due to the adoption of the Productivity and Capacity Excellence (PACE) system and a sales initiative that put its Dust Deputy consumer product onto retail store shelves nationwide.
Within three months of implementing the PACE system, which was developed by Oneida CEO Christopher Guerrera while he was a plant manager with BMW automobiles, overhead costs were reduced 50 percent.
