The National Wood Flooring Association held an Intermediate Sand & Finish school in San Jose, Calif., Aug. 10–13, hosted by Galleher Hardwood Co. (Santa Fe Springs, Calif.).
Participants learned sanding and finishing skills, including techniques such as board replacement, hand-scraping, repairing finish imperfections and recoat/resanding methods for prefinished flooring.
The school was led by NWFA Regional Instructor Jason Elquest of Blackhawk Floors Inc. (Scottsdale, Ariz.)
