Bostik Inc.’s (Wauwatosa, Wis.) marketing push in 2015 has resulted in the brand and its green gecko appearing in a number of places—on an airplane, on cars driving in the Tour de France, on a Wood Floor of the Year award-winning floor. Now they’re featured in a video with actor and well-known green activist Ed Begley Jr.
Begley, best known for his role as Dr. Victor Ehrlich on the NBC television series “St. Elsewhere,” used Bostik’s Ultra-Set SingleStep2 adhesive in his home, which he is building to LEED Platinum standards.
He explained his choice in a video for Bostik.
“Ultra-Set SingleStep2 was an important piece of the puzzle in getting LEED points for our home,” he said in the video. “It was a sum total of different attributes. No other product would fit the bill for what we were trying to do here.”
