The Green Building Initiative 32-member consensus body made a revision to GBI’s American National Standard (ANSI/GBI 01-2010: Green Building Assessment Protocol for Commercial Buildings) and opened it to public comment. The comment period runs from Sept. 11–Oct. 26. The standard and commenting form is available on GBI’s website.

The National Association of Home Builders agreed to become one of three Greenbuild Top Tier Partners for 2015, according to the expo’s presenters U.S. Green Building Council. “NAHB has long been an advocate of sustainable, high-performance building and remodeling, and Greenbuild is a perfect venue for us to continue educating the industry about the importance of building green,” said NAHB Chairman Tom Woods in a statement.
