HPS North America Inc., Schönox (Florence, Ala.) hired Todd Gates as its vice president of sales and business development for the Western United States.
Based in Las Vegas, Nev., Gates will be responsible for developing distribution and support opportunities in “one of the fastest growing mega regions for the company,” according to a statement from the company.
“I am delighted that Todd has joined us bringing his strategic knowledge and insights to Schönox,”said Doug Young, executive vice president of HPS Schönox. “Todd’s extensive experience in the LVT flooring sector pairs so well with our Schönox products which are ideal for use with the resilient category and others where subfloor preparation is even more critical to installation success.”
Gates was most recently with Kamdean USA as vice president. Before his 19-year career with Kamdean, he worked in a variety of management positions in the building services and commercial and retail flooring areas.
