J. J. Haines & Company (Glen Burnie, Md.), having completed the acquisition of CMH Space Flooring Products announced in 2014, has restructured its management team with 16 promotions.
Mike Barrett was promoted to executive vice president of logistics, Hoy Lanning to executive vice president of the CMH division, John Coakley to chief financial and technical officer and Bill Rothenbach to senior vice president of human resources.
“When you are a top notch company you develop people,” said President and CEO Bruce Zwicker in a statement. “Changes are inevitable, and when they occur, they are opportunities if you are prepared. We are. We’ve been preparing for years.”
Other promotions included Jed Collins, director of the supplies division; Brian Green, director of CMH sales–South; Brian Parker, CMH marketing director; Nitin Mahajan, director of logistics optimization and planning; Mike Chisari, director of customer service and Haines voice of the customer; Eric David, director of purchasing and supplier reliability; Jim Dennis, senior manager of supplies marketing and sales–North; Bob Moore, supplies center manager–North and South; Fred Reitz, VP of transportation and operating systems; Samantha Alagna, research and voice of customer; Mike Thomas, director of CMH sales in Florida; and Jay Friend, director of CMH sales–North.
The company is recruiting for more leadership positions, including a director of information technology.
Two executives left the company to pursue CEO positions at smaller companies. Scott Roy is now the president and CEO of Gilford-Johnson Flooring and Rosana Chaidez is the new president and CEO of N.B. Handy, a roofing distributor.
