Sunshine Floor Supplies (Bridgeport, Conn.) hosted a sold out National Wood Flooring Association Intermediate Sand & Finish school May 17–20.
The four-day training school provided extensive hands-on training for sanding and finishing wood floors at an intermediate level. The school was taught by Toby Merrill, owner of McHenry, Ill.-based Walk on Wood and an NWFA Regional Instructor.
In addition to Merrill, the instructors were Allen Nery, Rubio Monocoat; Jim Schumacher, 3M; John Armfield, Woca USA; Kellie Hawkins, Waterlox Corp.; Larry Smith, Basic Coatings; Mike Farrell, American Sanders; Mike Overy, Bona US; Steve Bewsher, Duraseal; Tim Nathan, General Finishes; and Tom Zagula, Loba-Wakol;
