Investment Firm Buys, Merges Floors Inc. and Malibu Floors

Floors Inc. (Southlake, Texas) and Malibu Floors (Richardson, Texas) were acquired and then merged into one entity by investment firm Dunes Point Capital LLC on Dec. 23.

The merger forms an entity with expertise in both single-family and multifamily new construction. Existing staff will retain their jobs and be led by Larry Barr and Wayne Joseph.

Both companies are members of the FEI Group, a national network of interior finish contractors and interior finish showrooms.
