Pioneer Millworks (Farmington, N.Y.) and sister company New Energy Works (McMinnville, Ore.) hired former editor and creative director of Oregon Home magazine Snow Blackwood as the west coast marketing manager.
Blackwood will work with Pioneer Millworks Founder Jonathan Orpin to design events and marketing strategies, as well as create stories related to the community and company issues with a focus on sustainable wood products and practices.
“Expanding our presence in the Pacific Northwest is a goal for 2017,” said Orpin in a statement. “Adding Snow as our first West Coast-based marketing manager is a natural next step. Her creative talents, evident in her former role, and her natural passion for design will be a great addition to our team.”
