Six hundred floor covering retailers attended ConneXtion, the annual meeting for CCA Global Partners, a floor covering cooperative that includes Flooring America, Flooring Canada, International Design Guild and The Floor Trader.
ConneXtion was held in Phoenix Jan. 23–24. Attendees participated in a number of events, including CollaborDate, a “speed dating” event that put CCA Global members in front of suppliers for 5–8 minutes; the unveiling of a new marketing campaign featuring HGTV Design Star winner and company spokesperson Jennifer Bertrand; and business insight presentations.
IDG members got a first look at the rebranded Louis Dabbieri collection, which is now an independent brand. The Floor Trader Group also showed its completed rebrand and announced a YouTube channel that will launch in 2017.
“ConneXtion is always an exciting and productive time to engage with our diverse membership to implement and execute new programs that keep our members ahead of the retail pack,” said Keith Spano, president of Flooring America, Flooring Canada, IDG and The Floor Trader, in a statement.
