The World Floor Covering Association moved to a tiered membership structure in January, and it is now reporting both memberships and renewals on are the rise.
The three tiers—Sustaining, Leader, Advocate—give companies the ability to choose a membership level relevant to their individual business needs. Sustaining members get access to all entry-level benefits of the WFCA, including a 20 percent discount on fcB2B programs and scholarship reimbursements, among other benefits. Leader-level members get all Sustaining-member benefits, plus scholarship reimbursements up to $500 and a 25 percent discount on fcB2B services. Advocate-level members receive all previous benefits plus a 30 percent fcB2B discount, a 20 percent discount on all WFCA and Certified Floorcovering Installer training programs, and other CFI-related benefits.
“Interestingly, we had a lot of former members coming back to take another look at WFCA membership,” said Freida Staten, WFCA vice president of marketing and communications, in a statement, recalling the membership sales after The International Surface Event in January. “We attribute this to our ongoing efforts to evolve the organization to better meet the needs of constituents in the ever-changing business landscape.”
