The value of the global coatings industry is expected to grow 4.7 percent to $178 billion between 2015 and 2020, according to the Global Market Analysis for the Paint & Coatings Industry, published by the International Paint and Printing Ink Council.
The report also predicts the total volume of coatings in 2020 will be 13.21 billion gallons, a 4.3 percent increase compared with 2015.
