Dan’s Custom Hardwood Floor Inc. celebrated its 25th anniversary this month by moving from a two-car garage with an office on top to a brand new, two-unit 2,600-square-foot warehouse space and the company’s first showroom in Hingham, Mass.
Project Manager Jimmy Nguyen told Wood Floor Business that he drove past the new building on his way to the previous location every day. He always wanted a showroom, and when the building was renovated and a “For Rent” sign went up, Nguyen jumped at the opportunity.
“I had a gut feeling,” he said, adding that the new location, positioned on a high-traffic street, puts the company on the map, “Literally.”
The showroom features site-finished and prefinished wood flooring. Employees installed a medallion, as well as chevron and herringbone floors with a handful of border ideas.
The location is at 2C Sharp Street, units 3 and 4, in Hingham.
