A bad online review can sink your wood flooring business. But with so many review sites, how can you stay on top of them all? Reputation Beacon is a new app that consolidates online reviews from Facebook, Home Advisor, Angie’s List, the BBB and Google into one place for easy monitoring.
The app was developed by contractors who say they know from experience how time-consuming reputation management can be.
"We developed Reputation Beacon out of necessity,” said Jerri Shkavritko, co-owner of Canary Office, the developer of Reputation Beacon, in a statement. “As roofing contractors, we know that reviews are the first thing that most customers look at when deciding which company to hire—but there were not enough hours in the day for us to keep on top of them. The app pulls all of the reviews from the top sites and puts them in one place."
After users connect their accounts from review sites to Reputation Beacon, they can filter reviews by star rating or date posted. The app features push notifications and email alerts for new reviews, which allow users to quickly respond to customer concerns.
The app is currently available in the U.S. and worldwide in beta version on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
