Schönox Hires Steve Hobbs as Technical Sales Regional Business Manager

HPS Schönox (Florence, Ala.) hired Steve Hobbs as a regional business manager of technical sales.

Hobbs will serve the states of Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico, as well as the El Paso, Texas, area. He has more than 40 years of experience in the flooring industry.

“Our ongoing commitment to increase nationwide-coverage of sales and operation led us to look for an addition to our team and we are very fortunate to find someone of Hobbs’ caliber to fulfill this role,” said Dave Lepird, North American vice president of sales, in a statement. “His wealth of experience in the floor industry makes him an important addition to HPS Schönox.”

U.S. households earning $75,000 a year can afford only 21.2% of home listings as of March 2025—up from 20.8% in March 2024 and the largest gain of any income group, according to the National Association of Realtors.
