ProKnee Corp. (Whitefield, Maine) completed a new 16,400-square-foot manufacturing and warehouse facility and will move in Dec. 1.
The building is at 116 Augusta Road in Whitefield, Maine. It is the company’s third building and will expand its combined total footprint of 28,000 square feet of office, manufacturing and warehouse space.
The expansion will allow ProKnee to extend its customer base outside the floor covering industry. The company plans to market to the roofing, flatwork and general building construction trades.
During the ribbon-cutting ceremony on Nov. 22, ProKnee owner Lee Richards thanked his employees for their efforts ahead of the official opening date.
“I’ve got to tell you, I appreciate it,” he said, according to local newspaper The Lincoln County News. “I can’t wait to move into this new building. It’s going to be so much better than what we have now.”
