American Coatings Association is endorsing a bill to end import taxes on products that are not available in the U.S., which includes more than a dozen ingredients used within the coatings industry. The bill, H.R. 4318, was passed by the House of Representatives in January and has moved on to the Senate. The association has submitted letters of support for the bill to Senators from states where the industry has “the largest footprint.”
Ecore (Lancaster, Pa.) hired Michael Raley as acoustic engineer. Raley comes to the position with 10 years of experience as an acoustic consultant and will join the team from Portland, Ore.
