Wood floor refinishing debris caught fire outside an Orland Park, Ill., home and spread to the garage, causing minor damage before being put out by firefighters.

A neighbor called 911 after seeing smoke and a small fire outside the house on the evening of June 15, allowing firefighters to arrive in time before the fire could cause serious damage to the home, according to Patch.com.

The fire was extinguished within 15 minutes, leaving only light smoke damage in the garage, where it was contained. The homeowners were away at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported after the incident.

Officials are investigating the details of the fire.
