Drew Rydingsword, owner of Mamaroneck, N.Y.-based Franklin Hardwood Floors, took home a $10,000 check after being selected as the winner of Bona US’s Extreme Adventure Giveaway.
The giveaway was the grand finale of Bona’s nationwide tour in its Bona Atomic Van, during which it showcased the company’s dust-containment system around the country.
Those who visited the Atomic Van, which started its tour in June 2017, were encouraged to snap a photo in front of it and post it on social media with the tag #bonaatomicadventure in order to enter the contest.
“This was a fun way to educate and showcase dustless sanding as a key component to the hardwood floor refinishing process,” stated Ilene LeBlanc, professional marketing manager with Bona US. “Not only is it healthier for the contractor and homeowner, dustless sanding saves hours of cleanup time in the finishing process.”
Rydingsword was surprised with the check on Sept. 5 at KRB Supply, a Bona distributor based in Mamaroneck.
“I was blown away,” said Rydingsword in a statement. “What an amazing way to start the day.”
