Pending Home Sales Down 1% in February

February pending home sales dropped 1% from January and fell 4.9% compared with February 2018, according to the National Association of Realtors.

The decline follows a 4.6% month-over-month increase in January.

Regionally, pending home sales fell 7.2% in the Midwest and 0.8% in the Northeast. Pending home sales increased 1.7% and 0.5% in the South and West, respectively.
