The International Surface Event (TISE) announced it will launch a trade show in Shanghai this year. The Surface + Design Event China is scheduled for Dec. 11–13 in Shanghai at the Shanghai New International Exhibition Center.
The show is organized by UBM China, the China Chamber of Commerce of Metals, Minerals and Chemicals Importers and Exporters (CCCMC) in partnership with the organizers of TISE’s North America event. The Surface + Design Event China will showcase stone, tile, flooring and wall covering products, installation and maintenance tools and technologies, according to TISE.
“With rapid urbanization, a growing population, and government investment in infrastructure, China’s construction industry is expected to experience even bigger growth,” stated Amie Gonzalez, show director, TISE, Informa Market.
TISE has hosted its annual flooring trade show in Las Vegas for 30 years.
