Kennebec Lumber Partners with Premier Hardwood to Produce Finish and Effect Line

Premier Hardwood Flooring (Syracuse, N.Y.) and Kennebec Lumber Company (Solon, Maine) announced a new partnership to create a finish and effect line.

The new joint venture will operate under the name of WW Hardwood Flooring Group and be based in Syracuse, N.Y. The operation will have access to both Premier and Kennebec Lumber mills, which have a combined finish capacity of 21 million square feet per year, according to the companies.

Production of the new line is expected to begin in July.
